Feel Golf's Dart Thrower Wedges Win Prestigious Baggy Award from Golf Illustrated The votes are in and Golf Illustrated Magazine's 2007 Baggy Awards have
been announced. Feel Golf's Tour Tested Wedges AKA: "The Dart Throwers"
of wedges - including the Company's new 73° Wedge - have been selected
to receive the Baggy Award in the Outstanding Achievement Product
Category.
This is the third year for the prestigious Baggy Awards. The Golf
Illustrated "Baggy Award" honor golf equipment manufacturers for
designing products that integrate technology, performance and consumer
appeal. Equipment was evaluated in four different categories - Reader's
Choice, GolfTest USA, Editor's Choice and Outstanding Achievement.
Awards in the Outstanding Achievement Category were given to those
golf products that, as judged by Golf Illustrated editors, are
considered to be the "Best of the Best" from a technology, performance
and/or playability standpoint.
Feel Golf Company is very pleased to announce
that it's multi-patented, Reverse Taper - Full Release™ Performance
Grip has become the United States Schools of Golf (USSOG) Official
Grip. The grip's revolutionary design promotes a more powerful and
consistent release at impact - just like professional Tour players -
increasing distance and minimizing errant shots such as hooks or
slices. When tested, 4.5 out of 5 golfers validated improved
performance over their traditional grips and overall customer
satisfaction as measured by PGATour Partners.
Feel Wedges "The Dart Thrower" was ranked "Best of the Best" wedges by
Rankmark after comparing 25 different wedge models on 300 golfers of
various skill levels.
The Full Release Grip was introduced at the 2004 PGA Merchandise Show and was named “The Top Discovery of The 2004 PGA Merchandise Show “
in the February 7, 2004 issue of Golfweek magazine. With its TaperTip
Technology, the Full Release Grips has USGA and R & A approval and
compliance.

 Accessory Review: Hold-N-One
by Jeffrey Reed
If you’re a golf aficionado like me (rather, a golf pack rat), then you
appreciate the Hold-N-One, a new accessory from The Other Edge, Inc.
With so much emphasis on the 300-yard drive, it’s good to know that the
Hold-N-One proves once again that great golf gear comes in small
packages. In fact, this wall-mounted bag holder protects your valuable
clubs while storing your bag in approximately one square foot of space.
I know my better half appreciates this, when I’m told that our basement
rec room is starting to resemble the bag room at the club.
Here’s how the Hold-N-One works. Quite simply, it mounts your golf bag
to the wall with a secure, quick-release latch. With the bag top heavy
from clubheads, this accessory stabilizes the bag, preventing your
2-year-old from toppling your Titleists all over the floor. The neat
thing about this gizmo is, you can mount it inside a closet, where your
clubs will be safe and sound. And, if you store your clubs in the
garage, there are no more worries about scratched doors or dented
hoods.
The Hold-N-One is designed to hold standard cart bags, carry bags and
the popular stand bags. I use mine with a stand bag, which, when full
of clubs, doesn’t stand in a stable manner by itself. Instead of
spreading the bag’s legs, the Hold-N-One allows for easy,
out-of-the-way storage.
The spring clip system in the Hold-N-One is strong and secure. Once
it’s mounted on the wall at a height so that the arm hangs over the lip
of your bag, simply flip the arm up to put the Hold-N-One in its
resting position. Once you’ve played 18, just push the bag against the
spring-loaded centre, and the arm will automatically flip down to hold
your bag steady.
I strongly recommend this great little golf accessory. Get it now and
your wife will thank you for giving back the rec room.

Feel Full Release Cross Line Grip

Feel Full Release Cross Line grip |
Manufacturer's
Description:
|
The
Full Release grip from Feel Golf features a reverse taper shape
designed to promote a correct grip, allowing the left hand portion of
the grip to be carried loosely in the fingers because the grip diameter
is much smaller in the left hand than traditional grips. The grip can
loosely be held by the fingers of the right hand due to the grip's
larger diameter at the bottom of the grip as compared with traditional
grips. With this patented TaperTip Technology, the grip is intended to
fit comfortably and naturally in one's hands, thereby reducing the hand
and wrist tension and increasing club control. The result is a proper
release through impact. The USGA-conforming grip is available in four
popular styles and fits on all standard shafts. |

Feel Full Release Review::
| Looks
|
|
At first glance, the grip basically looks like a traditional grip that
has been installed upside down. Upon further inspection, we found that
the patent pending design has a unique reverse taper profile that is
intended to work for any size hands and fingers and eliminate the need
for build-up tape. We tested the Cross Line model and later this
summer, Feel will add three more designs including a Tour Wrap model.
The grips are manufactured for Feel Golf by major USA grip companies.
The quality is excellent and the appearance is first rate. |

The grips are available online from Feel Golf with pricing for a set of
13 grips at $99.95 plus shipping. Individual grips may be purchased for
$9.95 each.

| Performance
|
|
We found that the Full Release grip really works. The grip feels
comfortable in the hands and after a brief adjustment period, we found
that the Full Release grip allows the golfer to release the right hand
at impact thus minimizing and even eliminating the slice. The reverse
taper shape not only feels good but allows the hands to relax more
through the swing and naturally release at impact. The result was
readily apparent with most reviewers making improved contact equating
to increased distance and better overall performance. We found in using
the Full Release grip on the driver that we gained a slight increase in
swing speed. The grip was also effective on pitch and chip shots
removing undesired tension in the control fingers. Finally, if used
over an extended period of time, we also feel that the Full Release
grips will engrain the proper tactile sensation of properly releasing
the hands through impact, thus improving your game by improving your
swing. |
 |
Summary
|
The
Full Release grip from Feel Golf is an innovative product that deserves
a serious look. We think that this grip will appeal to golfers of all
abilities that have a tendency to slice and block their release at
impact. Continued use of the Full Release grip will assist in
engraining the proper hand release producing improved performance.
